Stronger with You Amber is Armani's Middle Eastern exclusive flanker in the Stronger with You line — launched in 2023 and created by Cecile Matton, the perfumer behind the entire SWY collection. It represents a sophisticated and almost "niche" evolution of the famous Stronger with You line, moving away slightly from the extreme gourmand sweetness of its predecessors to embrace a warmer and more enveloping elegance. The opening hits with fresh lavender and mandarin essence — brighter and more aromatic than other flankers in the line, with the lavender and spicy touch immediately smoothed out by a very present amber note. The real protagonist here is a rich and honeyed amber that gives the perfume a golden and luminous character. The heart is a balancing act: lavender provides an aromatic cleansing that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy or "sticky". The dry-down is where Amber finds its identity: amber magically blends with Madagascar vanilla, creating a creamy, warm and slightly woody and enveloping trail that persists over time. Performance is divisive — some report 16+ hours while others find performance very bad, especially for a Stronger With You flanker. Community reception is polarizing: some find it "the most refined and least cloying of the stronger with you line," while others consider it a subpar SWY flanker, perhaps one of the worst of the line. Most frequently compared to Grand Soir for its gummy vanilla amber, though less sweet than others in the line, but still sweet, because the vanilla is evident, though better balanced. A Middle Eastern exclusive that's easier to explore as a decant than a blind buy.
Scent Notes
- Top: Fresh Lavender, Mandarin Essence
- Middle: Amber Accord

Best For
Fall and winter. Evening wear, date nights. A warm amber-vanilla fougère with lavender brightness and honeyed depth that sits somewhere between the original SWY and Grand Soir — polarizing performance but addictive if it works on your skin.
