If Layton is the opening act, Layton Exclusif is the headliner who doesn't come on until midnight. This is Layton stripped of its sweetness and rebuilt with something darker — the same DNA of bergamot, cardamom, and lavender in the opening, but what follows is a completely different animal. Literally. The heart introduces geranium and a rich, slightly smoky oud from Laos alongside Indonesian patchouli and guaiac wood from Paraguay — materials of genuine quality that you can feel in the dry-down. The civet gives it an animalic, skin-close warmth that's provocative without being overwhelming, and the vanilla and amber base keep it anchored in something luxurious rather than raw. It's darker, richer, more complex, and more mature than the original — the kind of fragrance that gets noticed in a room before you say a word.
